Lori Lawless

Background:

My love for teaching began when I was a little girl playing school every day in my basement. After graduating from West Chester University with a degree in Elementary Education, I began teaching fourth grade at Saint Charles Borromeo, Drexel Hill. After five years I left teaching when I had my first child. I returned to teaching as an Early Childhood Educator when my youngest child went to kindergarten. I love working with little children and creating an inviting environment to play, learn and grow. After eight years working at a local preschool in Paoli, I assisted in the launch of the preschool program at Saint Elizabeth Parish in Chester Springs. I am thrilled to be working with the faculty and staff in my home parish during this exciting year as we prepare to open the doors to the new building!

Personal:

My husband and I have four children who are our pride and joy! We have a son who recently graduated from Temple University, a daughter studying education at West Chester University and our youngest girls are a senior and junior in high school. We love to spend time together at the beach and watching the kids play sports. In March 2020 we brought home our pandemic puppy, and he is the topic of all of our conversations! We are obsessed with our very large Goldendoodle Murphy!

One Thing I Want Parents to Know:

I want parents and the children to feel God’s presence in our school. My hope is as the children continue their education that they will forever have fond memories of their first school experience in the Guardian Angel Hall!!
