Background:

I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I participated in the preschool program at my high school. After four years of doing that, I knew I had to become a teacher. I started off working at St. Patrick School in the fall of 2014 as a substitute teacher and after-school C.A.R.E.S. employee. I am so excited to be a Pre-K teacher this year, and I believe that Saint Patrick’s is the best place to teach. St. Patrick’s has always been a special place to me considering it is my home parish, and I have received all of my sacraments here.

Personal:

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family. We have our weekly pasta dinners together where we share stories of our week and laugh about memories. I also love reading. My favorite time to read is before bed. My favorite time of the year is around the holidays. I love spending time with my family enjoying delicious food, listening to music, and decorating the house.

One Thing I Want Parents to Know:

I want your child to learn, but I also want them to have fun and enjoy school. Pre-K4 is such a fun age where the child is establishing the foundations that they will build upon during the rest of their school years. Children learn through play and activity, and I want to incorporate as much play into my teaching as I can.
