Amy Darst
Background:
I have spent more than 30 years working in early childhood and elementary education. During my career, I have had the opportunity to work both as a classroom teacher and in school leadership. Most recently, I served as Assistant Head of School, a role that allowed me to support children, families, and teachers. After several years in school leadership, I am excited to return to the classroom and especially happy to be teaching PreK3 at St. Patrick School.
Personal:
My husband and I live in Malvern, and we have two daughters. I am also a huge animal lover, and our family includes two dogs and two cats. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, reading, and going to the beach.
One Thing I Want Parents to Know:
I know what a big milestone it is when your child begins school, especially when it is their very first school experience. My goal is for every child in my classroom to feel safe, loved, and excited to come to school each day. I believe that a strong partnership between home and school is so important, and I look forward to getting to know each child and family throughout the year.
