Mary Paulraj

Background:

I am originally from Chennai, India, where I completed my schooling and higher education. I was raised in a Catholic family where faith, prayer, service, and strong family values were an important part of daily life.In 2001, I moved to the United States and lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, for several years before relocating to Pennsylvania in 2008. Professionally, I have spent 23 years in the financial industry, where I held a variety of roles and had the opportunity to lead, mentor, and support multiple teams. These experiences strengthened my ability to listen, encourage, problem-solve, and help others grow with confidence.

Personal:

On a personal note, I am blessed with two wonderful daughters, one in high school and one in middle school. As both a parent and an educator, I value the important partnership between home and school. I look forward to working with parents to support each student’s academic growth, confidence, and overall development. Outside of school, I enjoy cooking and trying different cuisines. 

One Thing I Want Parents to Know:

I understand that the middle school years are an important time of growth, transition, and discovery for students. My goal is to create a supportive and respectful learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and build confidence in mathematics. I believe every student can make meaningful progress when given patience, structure, and consistent guidance.
