St. Patrick School’s Enriching & Educational Child Care

The St. Patrick C.A.R.E.S. (Children are Receiving Extended Services) Program strives to provide a safe and caring environment that complements the philosophy and value systems of the St. Pat’s School and family. Daily activities include a healthy snack, quiet homework time, outside play, inside games and crafts. We provide individual attention, security, consistency and fair and caring treatment to all the children in attendance.

During the 2017-18 school year, C.A.R.E.S. will be open from 2:40 P.M. until 6 P.M. on school days. On Monday, August 28th and Tuesday, August 19th, C.A.R.E.S. will be available from 11:30 A.M. until 6 P.M.

Early Dismissals

In the event of early dismissal due to inclement weather or a school emergency, C.A.R.E.S. will remain open for 2 hours as a courtesy to parents who work outside the area. A registration form must be on file for this service. The safety of our staff is as important as the safety of our students. The C.A.R.E.S. staff will immediately call parents to notify them of an unplanned early dismissal.

C.A.R.E.S. Fee

It is important for parents to be aware of the Archdiocesan mandate that the C.A.R.E.S. program be financially self-sustaining in order to remain in operation. Parent fees are the only source of revenue for salaries, utilities and program costs.
