Warriors of Faith
At St. Patrick School, the mind is enlightened, the heart is shaped and the soul is nurtured.
As a Catholic School in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, St. Patrick School instructs all students in Catholic teachings, values and the love of Jesus Christ. Unlike other schools, however, St. Pat’s goes above and beyond to inspire Warriors of Faith. Our St. Pat’s Warriors learn to see their education and life as an extension of who they are as children of God, using their special talents to serve Him.
Faith Formation in the Classroom
Our teachers, regardless of grade level or class subject matter, strive to instill a love of learning, a healthy love of neighbor and self, and a strong bond with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. These concepts are nurtured each day through student prayer, sacraments and a deeper understanding of the fullness of the Catholic faith.
Throughout the school year, St. Patrick School students regularly participate in:
- Religion class
- Daily prayer
- Bi-monthly school mass
- The sacrament of Reconciliation, three to four times per year
- Seasonal events & devotions, such as Stations of the Cross, All Saints Day celebrations and a May Crowning of Mary
- STREAM, a STEM-based program that emphasizes the higher purpose that God offers to academic pursuits and His role in all subject areas
Faith Formation Outside the Classroom
Just as religion is not only for Sundays, it is also not limited to the confines of our classrooms. St. Pat’s students regularly participate in extracurricular and service experiences that show them the wider world and inspire them to be Warriors of Faith who share God’s love in our community.
Outside of the classroom, St. Patrick School students can experience:
- St. Patrick’s annual Mission Day activities in support of Amigos de Jesus
- Service opportunities through Operation Kids Care, The Food Pantry, and more
- Spiritual Retreats for 6th–8th Grade students
