St. Patrick School’s Center for Reading, Research & Learning Resources

Students at St. Patrick School are introduced to the library and its many resources early on in order to build a strong foundation of reading, writing and research skills. These abilities will serve them well as they progress in their education. Our library is fully-stocked with age-appropriate books for students of all ages, technology resources for projects and comfortable places to work and read.

As part of their library class time, students:

  • Differentiate between fiction and non-fiction books
  • Identify story elements and make predictions based on the text
  • Choose appropriate books based on interests, reading level, genre and series
