Background:

I always knew I wanted to be a teacher since high school. I took a child development class, had my own preschool buddy and loved it. Since then I have been a counselor, specialist, and assistant director at various summer camps around the area. When it was time for college I knew education was the path I wanted to take. I studied Early Education with a minor in STEM at Millersville University. I graduated in 2021. Right out of college I was a substitute teacher. Then I decided to try out kindergarten. STEM has always been my passion, so I am excited to now be the STEM teacher at St. Pats!

Personal:

I am from West Chester, Pennsylvania. I lived there for 24 years. I have always loved West Chester, but recently I have decided to join my twin sister and move to Phoenixville. My sister and I love to explore the town and restaurants there. When I’m not in Pennsylvania I like to visit my Dad and stepmom in New Jersey at the beach. I love to go on walks at the beach and stop by my favorite ice cream store Aunt B’s.  After work you can find me crocheting in front of my tv. My favorite shows to watch are competition shows, like the Challenge or Survivor. I learned to crochet in high school from my neighbor whose dog I walked. I have been crocheting for over 8 years!

One Thing I Want Parents to Know:

I am super excited to be a part of the St. Pat’s family! I am very passionate about STEM education. I hope that I can develop your child’s love for STEM or spark their interest if they are just starting to explore with STEM.
