Joann Falciani

Background:

I have been teaching for 25 years at most grade levels from Pre-K through second. I hold Bachelor ‘s  Degrees in Human Resources from Cabrini College. I am Pennsylvania State Certified in Elementary Education I earned a Master of Education from Cabrini College. I received my Montessori Certification from Chestnut Hill College. I taught  first grade for Horizons this past summer. Horizons helps low income students build the gap  between summer and school.  I am committed to my Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic Schools. St. Patrick is much more to me than a school; it is a big, Christ-centered family.

Personal:

I come from a large Italian family. I enjoy spending time with my cousins, niece and nephews.  I volunteer for the Junior League of Philadelphia and the Saturday Club. These  two organizations have allowed me to build leadership skills while  helping the  underserved community.  I enjoy going to Ocean City New Jersey in the summer, I also love working out cooking and gardening.

One Thing I Want Parents to Know:

I am so excited to be a part of the St. Pat’s family! I absolutely loved the tradition and community environment of Catholic schools I attended, and I have always wanted to teach in the same setting. I truly believe that the early elementary school years are a vital time in building one’s faith and discovering who Jesus is. I am beyond thrilled that I get to teach at a school where God is alive in our everyday lessons and conversations.
