Background:
I was born and raised in Phoenixville and went to Eastern University knowing I wanted to be a teacher. In 2019, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Middle Level Education with a science concentration. I was a substitute teacher in the Phoenixville School District for a while and then taught 6th grade science in 2020. I am beyond excited to be a part of the SPS community and share my passion for STEM with my students.
Personal:
I have a younger sister and a dog named Scout. My sister is going to school to be an elementary teacher, so the love for teaching runs in the family. My personal hobbies include working out, reading and booking Disney World trips!
One Thing I Want Parents to Know:
In my class, we are going to be creative. My students will be given the opportunity for deeper thinking. There may not always be a correct answer in my class. Students will have the chance to build, investigate and work as a team. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I will be sending home class newsletters that will explain what we have been working on!
